Trebel Endurance Warm-up
The Trebel Endurance Warm-up is a bodyweight warm-up that is a great and quick choice for preparing for endurance and/or squatting based activities.
The warm-up is designed to prime the body for exercise while also improving hip, ankle, and thoracic spine mobility.
When you lack time and equipment, this warm-up can be used prior to hitting the pavement.
The Trebel Endurance Warm-up is as follows:
Get into a plank position and bring your left foot outside of your left hand: press your hips forward and around in clockwise and counterclockwise circles. Aim to keep your back leg as straight as possible. Repeat on your right side.
Open Plank Lunge
Just like the Plank Lunge, but after placing your foot next to your hand, bring your hands together behind your head and open up your chest like you are performing a lunge from a standing position. Again, focus on pressing your hips forward and keeping your back leg as straight as possible.
Plank Lunge Perfect Squat
Repeat the steps for the Plank Lunge, but after placing your left foot next to your left hand, being your right foot next to your right hand, sink your hips, push your knees out, lift your chest and arms, and perform a perfect squat from the bottom of the squat position.
